TTEP has been designed for meteorological, hydrological, airport stations, and for all outdoor applications. The sensitive component of TTEP consists of a Pt100 platinum resistance thermometer with a response curve compliant with standard DIN 43760 Class 1/3 and 4-wire connection. The sensor body is made of high-quality plastic material with stainless steel screws. The sensing element is protected from external radiation by a special non-hygroscopic screen made of an intrinsically anti-UV plastic material. Moreover, thanks to its curvy shape in section, the internal natural ventilation is improved, ensuring an ideal environment for measurement. The sensor can be supplied with a natural output (4 wires), or with standardized electrical outputs in voltage, current, or digital (Modbus or SDI-12). The sensor is supplied with power and signal cable (4m).
